Intuition should not be underestimated, but neither should it be overestimated. Intuition has access to the subconscious and the subconscious has access to what I call the superconscious.
You must know for yourself whether you believe the following. You are a free person. Nevertheless, I’ll give you some ideas here.
Everyone, really everyone, makes emotional decisions. However, there are people who go to one extreme or the other. Very rational or very emotional. If you don’t know exactly what to do or how to decide, intuition will be perfect for you.
Or when situations arise where you need to make a decision quickly. The best thing here is a combination of intuitive feeling and logic. This will give you the best results.
Let me give you an example. Let’s say you’re looking for a job. You’re evaluating which job might be right for you.
Logic: Is the location of the job suitable? Is the salary enough to help me progress with my wishes and goals or to satisfy my needs? What qualifications and experience do I have? and so on.
Intuition / feeling / emotion: You feel that this job is somehow not the right one, but the rest fits from a rational point of view.
If you receive a second offer, all the criteria that are important to you are met. And you feel: this is the job! Then you should jump at the chance.
Remember that there is no perfect path and that everything has advantages and disadvantages.
It is important to know that intuition can also fool you. This is due to your childhood influences, your beliefs, etc. That’s why it makes sense to act counterintuitively from time to time, observe the result and learn from it.
Intuition is also important for quickly estimating people. For example, whether they are good or bad for you.
I hope you can apply this. It works for small decisions, but also for big decisions. 🙂
